Delete Your AutoMechanics Account
You can delete your AutoMechanics account from this page even if you no longer have the app installed. No login is required to make the request.
If you still have the app, open Profile, then Account & Data, then Delete Account. Confirm the deletion there. That removes the account without contacting support.
Request deletion by email
To request deletion of your AutoMechanics account and associated personal data, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account with the subject “Delete My Account.” We may verify ownership before processing the request.
What is deleted
Deletion normally removes the login, profile, profile photo, saved vehicles, saved locations, push-notification tokens, and other personal information tied only to that account. Messages sent by the account are replaced with a removal notice. The name shown to other people becomes “Deleted User.”
What may be retained
Limited records may be kept for legitimate legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute, or regulatory purposes. That includes completed job records needed for a dispute, refunds, payment status, and security records. These records are kept for up to 7 years, or longer while a dispute, chargeback, or legal hold is open. Contact details are removed where they are not required.
Stripe may retain charges, refunds, disputes, Connect records, and tax records under payment and legal requirements. AutoMechanics does not erase those processor records.
